Privacy Policy

In short: the Spieluhr app does not collect any data about you or your child. This website only processes the data that is technically necessary, and we count visitors without cookies on our own server. You’ll find the details below.

This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. The Spieluhr app

No personal data

The app does not process any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network connections, except to Apple’s App Store for purchases.

What is stored on your device

The app only remembers two settings: the animal you last selected and your timer setting. Both are stored only on your device (in the app settings, UserDefaults) and are deleted when you delete the app. We have no access to them.

“All Animals” purchase

Apple processes the purchase through the App Store. We do not receive your name, your payment details or your Apple ID, only an anonymous sales report.

To make the unlocked animals available, the app checks with Apple whether a purchase exists or whether you bought the earlier paid version of the app (the so-called app transaction). This check takes place between your device and Apple. No data is transmitted to us.

No permissions, no notifications

The app does not ask for any permissions: no access to the microphone, camera, location or contacts. It does not send push notifications.

Apple

Apple may collect statistics on downloads and crashes in accordance with its own terms. We have no influence on this. Learn more in Apple’s privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

3. This website

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by our hosting provider wpupdate.ch on servers in Switzerland. When you open a page, the server automatically stores technical information in log files: your IP address, the date and time of access, the address (URL) requested and information about your browser (user agent). This data is necessary to run the website securely and reliably. It is kept only for a short time and then deleted.

Visitor statistics

To understand which pages are read, we use Independent Analytics Pro. It works without cookies, the data stays on our own server and is not shared with third parties. IP addresses are not stored permanently.

Font

The Nunito font is hosted directly on our server. Visiting this website does not create a connection to Google or any other font provider.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Contacting us by email

If you email us, we only use your information to answer your request. We do not share it.

4. Your rights

You can ask us at any time which data we process about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing. Just write to hallo@spieluhr.app.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you live in the EU, the data protection authority of your country is responsible.

5. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the app, the website or legal requirements change. The version published here always applies.
